FAQ
Can wireless charging work through a table or countertop?
Yes — under-table wireless chargers are designed exactly for this. The transmitter mounts beneath the surface and charges phones placed on top. The ONEPOINTECH Stealth QB06 covers surfaces 10–30mm thick, and the QB21 covers 20–50mm, as long as the surface is non-metallic.
Which materials work — and which block under-table wireless charging?
Wood, quartz, granite, marble, glass, laminate and plastic all work well. Metal is the problem: a solid metal surface or thick metal foil layer blocks the magnetic field. Thin metallic inlays or screws near the coil area can also cause heating, so keep the charging zone metal-free.
Is charging through a surface slower than a normal charging pad?
There is some additional loss compared with placing a phone directly on a pad, but under-table chargers are engineered for the gap: the Stealth series delivers up to 15W to Qi-compatible phones and supports fast-charging modes for iPhone and Samsung devices within its rated thickness range.
How do I find the right charging spot under my desk or counter?
The charger ships with an alignment guide: stick the transmitter to the underside of the surface, then use the top-side marker to show users where to place the phone. The phone vibrates or shows the charging indicator when aligned correctly. For stone countertops thicker than 30mm, choose the QB21 long-distance model.
