FAQ

What is the difference between a wireless charging module and a wireless charging system?

A module is a matched transmitter/receiver pair (PCBA + coils) designed for OEM integration into your own device, robot or vehicle. A system is a complete, enclosed charging station with control electronics, communication interfaces and protection — ready to deploy on the floor. Integrators usually choose modules; end users usually choose systems.

Which wireless charging module do I need for a 24V or 48V AGV battery?

Start from power: charging current × battery voltage. Small AMRs and service robots typically need 100–200W, mid-size AGVs 400–800W, and large or fast-turnaround vehicles 1.5–3kW. The module output is then configured to your exact battery voltage within its range. This selector maps your application, voltage and capacity to a standard module.

Can a wireless charging module communicate with my BMS or fleet manager?

Selected industrial modules and systems provide CAN and RS485 interfaces, so the charger can report status to your fleet manager and respect BMS charge limits. If your project requires a specific protocol or telegram layout, mention it in your inquiry — protocol adaptation is a common part of custom projects.

Do you offer custom voltage, air gap or coil sizes?

Yes. Beyond the standard 60W–3kW range, ONEPOINTECH designs custom transmitter and receiver coils, output voltages, air gaps up to 50mm and sealed or high-temperature variants. Custom projects typically start from your battery specification, mechanical envelope and environmental requirements.
