Wireless charging built into kitchen countertops
The kitchen is where phones live — recipes, timers, video calls, music. A charger built into the countertop keeps the phone powered and the counter clear, with no cables near water, oil or heat.
There are four ways to add wireless charging to a kitchen, from a no-cutting under-table install to a fully invisible custom countertop project. The right choice depends on your countertop material, thickness and whether you are renovating or retrofitting.

Countertop material
Quartz, granite, marble, wood, laminate and solid surface all work. Metal and metal-backed composites do not.
Surface thickness
Under-table models cover 10–30mm (QB06) and 20–50mm (QB21 Pro / QB31 Max). Measure at the exact charging spot.
Underside access
The charger needs a few centimeters of clearance and a power outlet below the counter — typically inside a cabinet.
Charging position
Choose a spot away from the sink and cooktop: a breakfast bar, island edge or coffee corner works best.
Water, heat and appliances
The charger itself is sealed under the counter. Keep the resonator pad away from direct heat and standing water.
Phone cases
Most non-metallic cases work — their thickness counts toward the total distance. Avoid metal plates and magnetic wallet cases.
Frequently asked questions
Can wireless charging work through granite or quartz?

Yes. Granite, quartz, marble and other stone are non-metallic and work well, as long as the thickness is within the charger's range — up to 50mm for the QB21 Pro and QB31 Max. For stone we recommend testing a sample at the exact spot first.
Do I need to cut my countertop?

Not with an under-table charger — it mounts beneath the surface and charges through it. Only embedded models need a cut-out, and those are best planned with a new countertop.
Is it safe near water and cooking?

The charger sits sealed underneath the countertop, away from splashes. Phones charge on a dry spot on the surface — just keep the resonator pad away from standing water and direct heat like any phone.
